August is the time when the hustle bustle
of summer starts to settle down. Maybe
you’re going on that last big trip out of
town or doing your back to school
shopping. When you are out and about
doing the back to school shopping grab
an iced-cold, low-fat chocolate milk to
refuel and replenish any lost nutrients.
Chocolate milk is not only a great source
of calcium, it is packed with vitamins and
minerals to keep you going full speed
ahead. As the summer slows down and the
days start to get shorter, don’t let your
essential nutrients wind down with it.
Reach for iced-cold low-fat chocolate
milk. And remember to have your 3
servings of dairy every day. Here’s a
recipe for a quick snack when you’re on
the move.

Quick Snack
½ c. lightly drained canned peaches
½ c. cottage cheese
½ c. raisin bran, grape nuts or granola
Layer peaches, cottage cheese, then top
with cereal of choice. Then enjoy!
