Agriculture is New York’s largest
industry, and I am very proud and
honored to have been given the
opportunity to be your princess and
have represented and promoted
such an amazing industry.  Farming
is the backbone of our country,
without our farmers where would
we be?  Thank you for all of the long
days of hard work that you put into
producing your product, without
you I could not be standing before
you today.
I have spent the past year teaching
elementary children through school
programs, attended parades,
Legislative Meetings, Holstein Club
Meetings and Farm Meetings. I also
attended various Community Days,
Health Expos, Farmers Markets and
fairs…just to name a few of the many
opportunities that I have had
representing Oneida County and the
agriculture industry.  I was able to
meet so many people and enjoyed
being able to teach them how
important dairy is in their everyday
lives.
To the Dairy Promotion Committee,
thank you for all your hard work
and effort in planning, getting
products, and your dedication in
working the events.  Without you we
would not have this organization,
and we would not be able to teach
people about the dairy industry the
way we do.
A special thank you to Mrs. Smith
and Mrs. Finn for getting me
involved with dairy promotion…you
knew this was more my style!
Meghan Vaill, thanks for helping me
and filling in when I could not be
there.
Carrie Wratten, thank you for being
there when I needed you…you are an
awesome chaperone and so much
fun to be around.  Thanks for
bringing Jasmine and Abigail to
events.
To my court members, thank you
for helping in the events that you
attended.
To my family, thank you for
supporting me in my decision to run
last year.  It has been a remarkable
year, and I am so proud to be able to
say that I was the 2009-2010 Oneida
County Dairy Princess.  It has been a
life changing experience and I
would not trade it for the world.
Jenna, thank you for all your help
throughout the year, and State
Pageant was awesome with you…my
little princess.  Tyler thank you for
coming to different events and
helping out, it meant a lot to me.
A special thank you to my mom,
without her I would be no where.
Throughout the whole year she has
helped me so much, from planning
events and making sure everything
was ready, to driving me just about
every where.  Without her I don’t
know what I would have done.
Thanks mom!
A special thank also goes out to my
dad, thank you for being there when
I needed you, and helping in anyway
possible.  Also, thank you for being a
good sport in attending the Training
Seminar and then, the two days at
the State Pageant…every time it was
all of the princesses together you
were the lucky one who got to
attend. Thank you for everything
you have done dad!
Finally, to the 2010-2011 Oneida
County Dairy Princess and Alternate
Princess remember to be creative,
outgoing and most importantly have
fun.  Best Wishes!©
